Looking for a role in administration or to join one of our central departments?
Our staff tell us in our annual Employee Engagement survey that career progression is important to them, so we have a career pathway that makes their progress both transparent and achievable.
Along the way you will receive training to assist you to reach the next level and then it's down to you to show us that you are the best. If you have the ability, the motivation and the right attitude, and you want to be rewarded for your success, then you are in the right place.
Here are just a few of the roles available:
Customer Services Advisor
Based in our Mortgage Customer Service Centre, your role is to support Mortgage Advisors and sales colleagues.
Working for Mortgage Matters Direct you will need to perform the important task of customer service, keeping our clients abreast of the progress of their mortgage application on behalf of our Mortgage Advisors. You will need to liaise with lenders, solicitors, sales progressors and estate agents, which means that you will need to have excellent communication and telephone skills and the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
Once offers have been made on properties, our very patient sales progressors step in to take the strain away from our clients! Our sales progressors deal with all aspects of the property sale from acceptance to exchange and completion. You will need to liaise with solicitors, other estate agents, clients and other people in the chain and need to be on the ball at all times!
Our progressors have great listening skills and are used to dealing with many enquiries in the course of a day. They work to many deadlines, have great customer service skills and have the ability to get the job done. A great challenge!
We have full and part-time secretaries based in all of our branches to undertake this crucial role. Central to this role are our internal computerised systems and procedures from which our centralised mail-merges, mail-outs and all property brochures are created.
Much of the work includes the layout and typing up of our property brochures which are key to our marketing success, so it is essential that you have 50wpm audio experience, together with a real eye for detail and a sense of pride in your work. Working closely with your Branch Manager you will also be responsible for other general administration tasks and responsibilities.
An organised and methodical mind is essential, as is the ability to work at pace as your office will be busy!
Area/Head Office Secretaries and Personal Assistants
Many of our Area and Head Office staff have been promoted from within the company to work for one of the Senior Directors or Managing Director. The ability to multi-task and excellent time management is required when working for our senior team, together with having excellent typing skills and diary management.
The prospects are endless
Whatever role you decide on, the prospects with Ward & Partners are endless and your ability to climb the career ladder will very much rely on your dedication, hard work and pride in a job well done.
Our culture is to develop people throughout their careers and many of our staff have enjoyed long and fulfilling careers with us and continue to do so.
