What the owner says

The house for us has been just perfect but it's the location we would say is what really sold it to us. Shortly before we moved in back in 1999 the previous owners had embarked on a major refurbishment. During our time here we completed the project, adding a large extension, a bright and airy conservatory, a fitness room and installed an outdoor swimming pool at the bottom of the garden that we had had completely re-landscaped.

It's a special home and a property that has given us a fantastic quality of life. We have had parties and functions too numerous to mention during the summer. There's always been a high demand from visiting family and friends to claim the annexe above the garage during their stay as you can literally walk down the stairs and straight into the pool.

The sheer quality of life that the house and the location has afforded us, we think is what we will miss the most. It's a house full of nothing but happy memories and anyone who views the property will very quickly see what we mean.

It sits just a stone's throw from Chigwell village that has a direct tube line into the heart of London. There are also some fantastic schools in the area, with Chigwell school being the stand out, which is located quite literally up the road from the property.

It's a very family-friendly space and it's provided the perfect backdrop to some wonderful social occasions including the owners wedding reception. They were married at the church just up the road and walked hand in hand back to the home with three hundred guests following them for a wedding breakfast in a marquee that had been erected on the lawn.
