Living In Headcorn?
People love Headcorn for the mainline station and for the beautiful character houses on offer. The train links are brilliant as there are direct routes to Charing Cross. The village has everything a working family would need, including gastro pubs, shops, doctors, dentists and a Sainsburys. The school has an excellent reputation, and the only way of getting in is to be in the village. Smarden, and Egerton are equally as desirable, and the private school in Sutton Valence bumps it up the ratings too.
Local Area Of Headcorn
Headcorn has a popular, well stocked high street, which includes the local tea rooms, and an amazing bakery, with cakes the size of your hands! The community is really strong in Headcorn too - you can't walk down the street without hearing "good morning" at least three times. It's a real chocolate box village, with lots of good walks too. For thrill seekers, the aerodrome is a real pull. It also plays host to various military events that are a great day out for the family. The big cat sanctuary in Smarden is a must, and once a year opens its doors to the public.
