Living In Sheerness?
Sheerness attracts keen bird watchers from far and wide to see what they can spot at Elmley Nature, a reserve that makes up half of the island. Even if you're not a keen birdwatcher you can find the Monty Ferry House Inn, which was "Kent Dining Pub of the year 2014" at the Taste of Kent Awards last year.
Local Area Of Sheerness
Sheerness's Minster on Sea is very popular, in particular 'Minster Cliffs' and the road named 'The Lea's" which overlooks the sea. Another popular spot is the 'The Playa' a family run pub/restaurant looking over the sea. You can enjoy a 3 course meal whilst taking in the sea views or a cheeky pint or bottle of wine. Sheppey United Football Club, proud members of the Kent Invicta Football League, are our local team, winning 32 out of 42 matches last season.
Transport In Sheerness
Getting into London has never been easier. With a new direct train line from Sheernes on Sea to London Victoria that takes a little over an hour! Driving is even easier, with it taking about 50 minutes to get from the Island to the O2 Arena.
