Get Moving with Wards – Terms & Conditions

Wards is donating £50,000 to 50 local primary schools, in the form of sport equipment grants of up to £1,000, to help encourage young people to get moving. The following Terms & Conditions apply:

 

  1. The campaign will run from the 1st January 2025 to 31st December 2025 and is open exclusively to state-funded Primary Schools located within a 3 mile radius of a Wards branch.
  2. Wards will provide a Grant to no more than 50 separate Primary Schools whose applications are successful.
  3. Each Grant will be for a maximum of £1,000 (excluding VAT) and is for the purchase of sports equipment only.
  4. The equipment will be ordered exclusively from Hope Education of Hyde, Cheshire.
  5. Applications are to be submitted via a Google form available online at www.wardsofkent.co.uk/getmoving
  6. The deadline for submitting applications is 31st October 2025.
  7. Only applications submitted by the Head Teacher or Deputy Head Teacher of the Primary School will be considered and all applications must be made using a school e-mail address.
  8. A representative of Wards will contact every school that applies to discuss their application.
  9. The successful schools will be selected by Wards and notified in writing by 31st November 2025. Wards’ decision is final.
  10. The successful schools will be sent a link to Hope Education to select the equipment required. Wards will authorise the selection, place the final order and make payment. A detailed step by step guide will be provided before this stage.
  11. The equipment will be delivered to the nearest Wards branch and their staff and photographers will attend each school at a mutually agreed time.
  12. If the delivery of equipment is delayed or the equipment is damaged, Wards will contact Hope Education directly to agree a resolution.
  13. The successful schools agree to Wards using the name of their school and images of selected staff and pupils for marketing purposes, including its’ websites and Social Media platforms. The school is responsible for obtaining the relevant staff and parental consents.
  14. Wards will arrange a mutually convenient time to visit the school to photograph staff and pupils with/using the equipment following delivery.
  15. Wards accepts no responsibility for the equipment provided or any injury that may result from using it.
  16. The equipment and value is non-transferrable, non-negotiable and no cash alternatives is available.
  17. This campaign is not sponsored or administered by any Social Media platform that we might use for advertising purposes.
  18. Wards accepts no liability for entries that do not arrive or are incomplete and all such entries cannot be considered.
  19. Wards reserves the right to cancel or amend this campaign where circumstances outside of our control prevent us from running it.
